Wearable technology has improved greatly over the past few years. So much so that many devices today are focused on tracking clinical information. Over the past several months, we’ve seen FDA approvals of watches that capture blood pressure and electrocardiogram readings. As wearables move from lifestyle gadgets to sophisticated medical reporting tools, there will be many challenges. This panel explores issues around accuracy, security, interoperability, patient compliance and physician adoption.
